Steven Banks

Steven Banks is an Emmy nominated head writer of SpongeBob Squarepants. His books include the series, Middle School Bites about Tom, the VamWolfZom (Holiday House) and YA novel, King of the Creeps (Knopf). He co-wrote Shadowland, with the dance/theater company, Pilobolus, which has been performed in 40 countries and seen by a million people. He wrote and starred in the one-person show, Home Entertainment Center now streaming on Amazon Prime. He has appeared at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and The New York International Fringe. TV credits include Penn & Teller’s Fool Us, Mom, The Jimmy Kimmel Show, Parks and Recreation and My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. He is a graduate of the Ringling Brother’s & Barnum and Bailey’s Clown College. Really.
